A Reservation is not required to use a group study room during the break period between semesters. From May 8-May 26, 2017, study rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Group study rooms are available on the second floor of the University Library for collaborative research, group assignments, and other academic activities. The study rooms are for students of Chicago State University. They are not to be used for seminars, classes, faculty or staff meetings, student organization meetings, or other extra-curricular activities. Students will be required to present a valid CSU student ID to use a study room. There is a two-hour time limit for each group. A reservation may be canceled if a study room remains unclaimed 15 minutes after the start time of the reservation.
Reservations can be made online up to 1 day in advance or on arrival. A group is defined as two or more CSU students. Study rooms vary in size and are furnished to accommodate from 4 to 10 people. Some study rooms are equipped with computer equipment (e.g., computer, large monitor, DVD player) and white boards. Dry erase markers and erasers are available at the Reference Desk on request. The guidelines for group study room use are provided during the room reservation process. Please read carefully.
Select 2 consecutive one-hour time slots for the full two hours allowed. Click the blue ( i ) button next to each room number for information about the room.
